Determination of ascorbic acid at solid electrodes modified with L-cysteine

چکیده

Gold and glassy carbon electrode surfaces were modified with L-cysteine, the electrochemical behavior of ascorbic acid (AA) was investigated on these new surfaces. To improve efficiency electrodes, optimum conditions for AA determination established. Electrochemical experiments performed at different potential ranges, concentration AA, scan rates, number polymerization cycles pH values. Using cyclic voltammetry (CV) technique, determined as scanning range 0.2 to 1.5 V vs. Ag/AgCl in 0.1 M phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.02) L-cysteine/Au electrode, -1.95 1.9 2.7) L-cysteine/GC electrode. For characterization both surfaces, a series physicochemical techniques also applied. The usability selectivity two proposed electrodes using square wave (SWV) presence possible interferents, i.e., glycine, L-glutamic uric acid.

Simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid, dopamine and uric acid using PEDOT polymer modified electrodes

Dopamine, uric acid and ascorbic acid have been determined simultaneously on a poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) modified electrode using electrochemical techniques. On a bare glassy carbon electrode, all three undergo oxidation and appear as a single peak at around 200 mV, whereas on the modified electrode, distinct peaks with clear potential separation are observed, paving way for their simult...

Voltammetric determination of cysteine at a carbon paste electrode modified with Cu(II)-salen complex

The electrochemical behavior of a modified carbon paste electrode (MCPE) with N,N′ethylenbis(salicylideneiminato)copper(II) complex ([Cu(II)-Salen]) was investigated as a newsensor for cystein. The Britton-Robinson buffer with pH 5, 10% modifier in electrode, potentialscanning rate of 20 mVs-1 and puls height of 50 mV were used as the optimum condition for thedetermination of cysteine using car...

Electrochemical Determination of Dopamine in Serum in Presence of Uric Acid and Ascorbic Acid at a Sonogel-Carbon L-cysteine Modified Electrode

The objective of this work is to provide a tool for the electrochemical detection and quantification of dopamine in biological environments in the presence of ascorbic and uric acids (AA, UA). Sonogel electrodes modified with L-Cysteine prepared in this work showed very remarkable electrochemical performance for the determination of dopamine; the results obtained show good selectivity and sensi...

Voltammetric Determination of Anti-Hypertensive Drug Hydrochlorothiazide Using Screen-Printed Electrodes Modified with L-Glutamic Acid

This work deals with the development of screen-printed carbon electrodes modified with L-glutamic acid via two different approaches: electropolymerization (SPCE/PGA) and aryl diazonium electrochemical grafting (SPCE/EGA). SPCE/PGA and SPCE/EGA were analytically compared in the determination of hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ) by differential pulse voltammetry. Both electrochemical characterization an...

Determination of L- Ascorbic Acid in Plasma by Voltammetric Method

Voltammetric techniques have been considered as important methods among the analytical techniques used for the identification and determination of trace concentrations of many biological molecules such as L-ascorbic acid (AA). L-ascorbic acid is an electro-active molecule, though it is difficult to determine its value directly with a majority of electrodes made of carbon and transition metals, ...
